Meet Adwoa
Born to Ghanaian parents who immigrated to Canada in the 1980s, Adwoa grew up singing in various choirs and embracing her multicultural upbringing in Canada and the southern United States.
Raised in an interfaith household, she developed a strong belief in unity and connection among all people. Adwoa pursued her education, earning a Bachelor’s in French and International Studies and a Master’s in Education.
Her passion for social connection led her to become a Master Social Worker, driven by a desire to contribute to community betterment.
With a belief in the interconnectedness of all things, Adwoa seeks to be a catalyst for positive change and growth, walking alongside others on a path of service and development.
Adwoa is the founder of Human Temple Theraputics, spanDNA and Black Star Pilates.
