The Nucleus Family Member (NFM) is typically the individual who initiated the first DNA test spanDNA will analyze for your family.

NFMs are encouraged to collaborate with genetic relatives with whom you can identify one (1) to four (4) specific research questions or lines of exploration. These questions should focus on specific ancestor(s), geographic area, time period, and/or lineage.
Family Group Composition: Each member of the research group should ideally be a genetic relative or descendant of at least one identified ancestor relevant to the research focus.
Group Size (Does not apply to spanDNA Families Learners--educational groups)
